About PuppyChatter
PuppyChatter is a wrapper to AI models. It implementated single and multi-turn conversations and supports multiple AI models. PuppyChatter offers a clean abstraction to underlying AI apis. The current implementation supports Open Router models and Gemini Aqa.
Note that the 2.0.x release of PuppyChatter is a complete rewrite of the original 1.x version and it fully separates the OpenAI compatible API and the Anthropic compatible API. As a result, the 2.0.x release is not fully compatible with the 1.x version.
Starting from version 2.0.2, PuppyChatter supports the following providers:
- Openrouter
- Gemini
- Opencode Go
- Standard OpenAI providers that provides the
/completionsendpoint - Standard Anthropic providers that provides the
/messagesendpoint
With regards to functionality, PuppyChatter supports the following features:
- Single-turn conversations
- Multi-turn conversations
- Tool call (not all providers/models support this feature)
- Structured output (not all providers/models support this feature)
